Vývoj zahraničního obchodu Česka po vstupu do Evropské unie

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem zahraničního obchodu České republiky v období po vstupu do Evropské unie, konkrétní sledované období je 2005 až 2023. Po dvaceti letech členství se Česká republika profiluje jako významný exportér, přičemž vztahy s členskými státy EU tvoří přibližně 70 % zahraničního obchodu země. Cílem práce je zhodnotit stav, strukturu a změny zahraničního obchodu v průběhu let. V teoretické části je definován základní teoretický rámec a metodika výzkumu, včetně metriky Herfindahl-Hirschmanova a Grubel-Lloydova indexu. Analytická část detailně zkoumá teritoriální a komoditní strukturu obchodu, s významným zaměřením na vztahy s unijními zeměmi. Práce odhaluje klíčové faktory ovlivňující zahraniční obchod a pomocí SWOT analýzy nabízí strategie pro zlepšení mezinárodního postavení České republiky. Zjištění ukazují na citlivost zahraničního obchodu na vnější šoky a zdůrazňují potřebu diverzifikace obchodních partnerů a zvýšení přidané hodnoty exportovaného zboží.

This thesis examines the development of the Czech Republic's foreign trade following its accession to the European Union, specifically covering the period from 2005 to 2023. After twenty years of membership, the Czech Republic has established itself as a significant exporter, with relationships with EU member states accounting for approximately 70% of its foreign trade. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate the state, structure, and changes in foreign trade during the period. The theoretical part defines the basic theoretical framework and research methodology, including the Herfindahl-Hirschman and Grubel-Lloyd indices. The analytical section thoroughly examines the territorial and commodity structure of trade, with a significant focus on relations with EU member states. The study reveals key factors impacting foreign trade and offers strategies for improving the Czech Republic's position in the international trade through SWOT analysis. Findings highlight the sensitivity of foreign trade to external shocks and emphasize the need for diversification of trading partners and the need to increase the added value of exported goods.
