Abstract

This diploma thesis will deal with equipment for the transport of natural gas. In the introduction, I mention the history of the gas industry in the world and in the Czech Republic. The following is a description of the gas storage tanks. The whole work will focus on the underground gas storage in Třanovice, its technical parameters and especially on the Solar Turbines turbochargers. I will describe the facilities for gas transport that are used in the PZP Třanovice. I will mention the procedure and the reason for the introduction of turbochargers. I will focus on the maintenance and monitoring of these compressors. For this step, I want to use my knowledge of technical diagnostics and then apply it as a means of obtaining information and at the same time suggest possible solutions in maintenance based on my acquired data.
