Abstract

Bachelor thesis is focused on navigation systems for approaching the plane to the airport. Thesis contains a description of used navigation systems on international airports. The text also describes the legislative scope of use of navigation systems. In detail are described systems which are located at Leoš Janáček Ostrava Airport. Result of this thesis is a physical model of Leoš Janáček Ostrava Airport, equipped with visualisation resources for approach of the plane. Model will serve as an accompanying material for education in subjects like Aeronautical lows, Air Traffic Control, Aircraft Operation Procedure and Aircraft equipment.
