Abstract
Dissertation thesis adresses contactless measuring device which checks dimensions and shape of monoblock rail wheel after heat shaping. Proper profile as well as eccentricity of inner and outer diameter are beeing checked on wheels of 1260 mm diameter and 1100 °C temperature. All these parameters are beeing automaticaly checked and evaluated. Measured data are beeing used online for setting up previous operation, which is heat rolling. Measuring device was innovated not only by structural solution of trasporter and turning device, but also thanks to implementation of modern measuring technologies. Data are also beeing saved for later control, where you can assing any given product to saved data by markings on the wheel. As a result, heat-measuring of monoblock rail wheels has more quality, is more accurate and is faster.
