Abstract

The bachelor's thesis deals with measuring the accuracy of a CNC machine tool using the Ballbar system. The work mentions the historical development of NC and CNC machines, their classification and the benefits they brought. Thesis also mentions accuracy of NC a CNC machines as well as possibilities of measuring the accuracy of machine tools followed by description of the Ballbar system and a list of possible errors that the system can detect. In the practical part, a specific machine is measured and planes are evaluated at different feed rates. Evaluation of the circularity results is made and written down.
