Abstract

Master thesis is focussing on stress analysis in some selected specimens via photoelasticity method. A program for automatic processing of the isochromatics and isoclinics fringes is performed. Fringes was obtained from the photoelasticity measurement. This program with the shear stress difference method was used for analysis thin annular disc and disc subjected to a diametral compressive load. There was also shown solution of shape beam subjected to a bending force. Results of the analysis are stress tensor's components on overall area of the specimen. The results obtained from experimental and numerical solution were compared in some chosen locations for all the specimens. For the thin disc analytical approach was also used. Numerical solving is performed in Patran software.
