Abstract

After brief historical introduction this thesis focuses on Taylor polynomial. First, the problematic of Taylor polynomial in one real variable, including stating several important theorems, definitions, proof and solved examples is discussed. Then, the problematic with o-small functions is outlined. Then the applications of Taylor polynomial in one real variable with practical utilization are stated. Finally the Taylor polynomial in several variables with examples and applications is discussed.
