Abstract

This study aims to assess the cooling and temperature distribution on the motor frame using computer modeling CFD analysis. Geometry is a skeleton electric type 1LG4314-2AB60, which together with other data supplied by Siemens. A computer model will be modified in the Ansys Workbench 14.5 and the actual analysis is done in the module CFX. This will result in the temperature distribution on the type skeletons. The final task of the present work is to find a technical solution that will reduce the temperature of the chassis motor.
