Abstract
This master thesis is devoted to the analysis of pressure plate car seating system.
This analysis simulates the real knee test of pressure plate, where this pressure plate must endure specified load force. When this force is exceed, cracks occur in critical areas, which results in failure of the part of the car seating system. The aim of this thesis is to find this critical areas on the pressure plate and suggest improvements in order to increase loading capacity of this pressure plate. Whole thesis is solved using the finite element method in software ANSYS Workbench 15.0.7.
