Abstract
The topic of the thesis was the Evaluation of the Functioning of Selected Pedagogical-Psychological Counseling Centers in the Czech Republic. The diploma thesis addressed the objective of evaluating these centers over a five-year period, from 2018 to 2022, or the school years 2017/18 to 2021/22. Selected pedagogical-psychological counseling centers were from the South Moravian, Karlovy Vary, Liberec, and Pilsen regions. Mathematical-statistical methods, analysis, and a questionnaire survey were employed. The thesis was structured into six chapters, with emphasis in the theoretical part on the public sector, education, and social affairs. In the practical part, the focus was on the number of clients within various groups (kindergartens, elementary schools, secondary schools, colleges), potential clients, wages, energy consumption, and income self-sufficiency for the period from 2018 to 2022, or 2017/18 to 2021/22. There is a decreasing trend in clients from preschools, secondary schools, and higher education institutions. Clients from primary schools show an increasing trend. Overall, there is a decreasing trend in the number of clients. The amount of financial resources for salaries, energy, and subsidies increase over time.
