Abstract
This thesis explores principles and features of an asynchronous motor. There are derived fundamental formulas for design of a motor’s mathematical model and there is introduced a space vector. In this thesis there is explanation of transformation how to express voltage and current vectors and coupled magnetic flows ASM in two-phase coordinated system. Further I describe electromechanical features and derive fundamental formulas for power and the turning moment of ASM. I explain the principle of ASM vector control and regulation structures. At the end of the thesis I assembled simulation models of asynchronous motor in a stator coordinated system with program MATLAB-SIMULINK thereby I verified features of regulatory structures with vector control and with asynchronous motor.
