Abstract
The thesis describes design and realization of security system based on Microchip PIC microcontrollers. System includes sensor modules for unauthorized entrance detection based on magnetic contact, measuring GAS and carbon monoxide level, movement detection and measuring temperature and humidity. System also includes control unit, control panel and development board Arduino with ethernet interface connected for web server implementation.
The main component of the system is central processing unit, which controls all communication between the modules. Its role is collecting measured data from sensor modules and providing the data to a user through the control panel or web server. Also evaluates alarm conditions from incoming data and listens to activation and deactivation commands from control panel and web server. Communication with sensor modules and control panel is based on industrial bus RS485. For communication with ethernet interface is used standard RS232. To programming internal algorithms was used C programming language. Web application is created with AJAX technology, which means the page in web browser may not be refreshed, but the incoming data are restored automatically with the use of the JavaScript and XML.
