Abstract

HORÁK Jan. Design of Gearbox for Racing Vehicle. The Institute of Transport, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Technical University of Ostrava. 68 pages, 37 figures, Thesis lead: Ing Jakub Šmiraus Phd Master thesis is focused on desing of gearbox for racing vehicle of Formula Student. In theoretical part of thesis are described variant of gearboxes design, principle of their function and control. In practical part, i made analysis of current gearbox, based on telemetry datas. Then i designed possible solution of gear ratios. From these possibilities is picked the best one, and based on it are constructed gears. For designed gears is done load test. At the end of thesis i compared new desing with old one.
