Abstract
The main goal of this thesis is to classify welding joint defects in high-alloy austenitic steel X6CrNiTi 18-10 and to determine whether these defects arose during the welding process or during the operation of the device. In the case of the defects which appeared during the welding process, a prediction of their occurrence is also included. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the theory of austenitic steel weldability and on the types of defects which may occur when the 141 (TIG) method is used to weld this type of steel. The practical part includes an evaluation of defects on four samples, which was done by tomography, metalography and by an electron scanning microscope.
