Supervisor: Ing. Jakub Šmiraus, Ph.D. The diploma thesis deals with the modification of the bicycle brake system. The first part theoretically analyzes the design of bicycles, brake systems and bicycle components. The second part deals with the calculation of the dynamic parameters of the bicycle. Next part of this diploma thesis, deals with the creation of a proposal for the modification of brakes. The fourth part calculates the dynamic parameters of the bicycle after modification of the brake system and describes the real testing of dynamic parameters. The last part summarizes the results of the modification and comparison with the original brake designs.
