Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the design of a polisherfor aluminium discs. The introduction describes the disc materials and thein properties. Then I showed the polishing methods and process. The following is a comparison of available polishers in the Czech Republic. The calculation part consists of designs of electric motors and thein transmission. In the calculations I also included the design of the supporting structure and moving parts. Extensive part is then design of chain and belt. The workends with a view of the person operating the polisher.
