Abstract
The submitted thesis focuses on human resources management in the production plant COREX CZECH Ltd, which produces paper cores and tubes. The thesis consists of two parts. First part of this bachelor thesis is concerned with a theoretical explanation of solved problems. There is defined the importance of human resource management and there are described human resource activities. The second part of this thesis includes a basic characteristic of COREX CZECH Ltd. with its historical development, integration in the multinational concern and the chosen key economic figures. The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the present situation and its interpretation. For the analysis an assessment method for human resource management is used. This method is developed on the basic pragmatic model of measuring of competitiveness by Harry Pollak.
