The bachelor thesis deals with the design of semi-dry flue gas washer for the incinerator of industrial waste. The introduction describes the pollutants in the waste gas and the methods of removing them from it. Based on the given values, I designed the flue gas washing machine of type PV20 in order to minimize the amount of released SO2, HCl and HF after its placement into the incinerator. Flue gas cleaning is provided by a two-spray absorber using semi-dry lime scrubber and fabric filter. The sorbent is prepared in the mixing tank. Negative pressure throughout the system is regulated by flue gas ventilator.
