Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with optimization of a robot arm with linear drives, for mobile robot ARES. Introduction is focused on the stress analysis of arm. Based on theses analysis created value analysis and selected optimal solution. Stress analysis of all components was created for optimal solution. These analysis conducted in Creo Parametric 2.0. Analysis were conducted individual motors. Engines are designed for load arm 20 kg. Diploma thesis contains price calculation, technical documentation and calculations exposed part.
