Abstract

This bachelor thesis contains analysis of the water and hydropower solutions, mechanical and electrical parts of small water power plant. Mechanical part concept of small water power plant was made for a given run-off curve. Appropriate type of water turbine was selected based on run-off curve. Design solution for variant with one and two turbines is contained in my thesis. Installed capacity, amount of produced electrical energy is calculated for each variant and generator and transformer are suggested. Investment costs and payback period are calculated for each variant of small water power plant.
