Abstract
This thesis deals with the cylindrical milling of composite materials. The main objective is to identify the technology depending on the tool life with the most suitable milled surface of the thermoset and selection of appropriate tools for processing of the thermoplastics. This technology has to be in accordance with the quality of the machined surface, where milling can lead to defects such as uncut fiber, delamination or even spalling of the surface. Tools of competitive companies specializing in the processing of these materials were used to obtain accuracy and regularity of the results. This work responds to the current state of knowledge concerning the machining of carbon composites and further expands it.
