The bachelor's thesis deals with processing options and analysis of the composition of biodegradable components in mixed municipal waste in a selected locality in the Moravian-Silesian Region. In the theoretical part of this bachelor's thesis, attention is focused on legislation that is closely related to the studied issue and possible ways of using biodegradable waste. A measurement was carried out in order to determine the actual production of kitchen waste in urban areas. Subsequently, a method of using biodegradable waste for the given location was proposed.
