Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with optimization of AlSi die casting moulds maintenance workshop. The goal of this thesis is to propose proper arrangements which would lead to time reduction, optimization and increase in productivity and finally to moulds life-time extension. The diploma thesis is divided into several parts. The methods, the project schedule and the project strategy are described at the beginning. The analysis of current status follows together with analysis evaluation and description of identified problems. The next part of the thesis describes the proposals for removing of identified reserves and the proposal for new moulds cleaning technology. The proposed technology economic evaluation is stated at the end together with complete thesis evaluation.
