Abstract
Bachelor thesis deals with a constructional proposal and calculation of the Belt Conveyor. The Belt conveyor is designed for transportation of coal. This thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part includes a summary of all types of driving drums pads. The second part deals with the calculation of the Driving Unit. The last part is the analysis of friction coefficient for different variants of driving drums. According to this analysis, we select the most suitable type of drive drum pads for a given conveyor belt.
