Abstract

This thesis suggests using the monitoring of rolling mill vibrations and the state of the technical diagnosis as an implement of maintenance. This thesis contains a description of the different parts of the rolling mill. Measurements and analysis were done under the direction of ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s. The purpose of this thesis is to locate the disturbances of the machine and to suggest corrective measurements for their elimination. The final part of the thesis contains a summary of the technical - economical evaluation of the rolling mill and also an evaluation of the measurements.
