Kontraktační techniky ve výběrové kávě – dva přístupy na českém trhu

Abstract

This diploma thesis analyzes and compares contracting techniques within the specialty coffee segment on the Czech market. The research focuses on two distinct business models: a highly formalized international importer (Subject A) and a relationship-oriented direct importer (Subject B). The theoretical framework examines quality assessment mechanisms (CVA, Q Certification) and international trade standards, including ESCC, Incoterms 2020, and the CISG. Through comparative analysis, the study identifies significant differences in risk allocation, contractual formalization, and dispute resolution. The results indicate that while the formalized model prioritizes legal certainty through standardization, the relationship-based model relies on flexibility and trust, often leading to the implicit application of international conventions. Furthermore, the thesis addresses the impact of the EUDR regulation on the future transformation of the industry.
