Abstract

The graduation theses is focused on the maintainance of the machines by means of on-line diagnostics. In the introduction there are mentioned different strategies of the maintainance with the description of their positives and negatives. Summary of the most used diagnostic methods and brief demonstration of several on-line diagnostic systems from different manufacturers (producers) follow.

The practical part describes the application of the system Octavias Effector on the milling production line BIVIS. Placing (location) of sensors, diversity (variety) of supplied software and evaluation of the measured values.
