Abstract

The thesis deals with the design of drag conveyor drive intended for transport of black coal in underground mine. At the opening part of thesis, there is compiled background research which describes drag conveyors, drives drag conveyors and plows . The second part is dedicated to the calculation of the drag conveyor according to ON 44 5721 and the design of individual components of the drive. At the third part is executed design and strength calculation of gear couplings and cover gear couplings cover. The conclusion of thesis gives survey and summary of results. Drawing documentation was created in the program Solid Edge ST3.
