Abstract

This master´s thesis deals with design of intake and exhaust ports modification of internal combustion engine. The first part describes history and theoretical basis of the principle functions of internal combustion engine. Then is described internal combustion engine aerodynamics. In the next chapter is made analysis of flow and flow coefficients of intake and exhaust ports are analyzed. The main part contains a adjustment of the scanned models, then modeling intake and exhaust ports and flow analysis. Followed by evaluation of flow and design of modifications of the intake and exhaust ports.
