Abstract
The first part of the thesis is engaged in the theoretical description of logistics, its functions and objectives. Subsequently, it describes warehousing with its functions and distribution of operations. The third chapter of the first part is devoted to the general analysis of theoretical methodologies of management via optimizing procedures, followed by the introduction of the company invited for this work, description of its business activities and their display. The second part of the thesis contains a general summary and assessment of the current state of the evaluated corporate activities. The third part discusses the possibilities of making the logistical flows more efficient, in particular the supplier-customer relationships. The fourth part deals with allocation of stocks according to BCG Matrix method. Finally, optimization of assessed processes and their streamlining is suggested.
