Abstract

The bachelor thesis is dealing with breakdown analysis of rotating suspensions on the glazer line. Here are described negative effects that have impact on premature termination of bearings. In the beginning there is an overview of rolling bearings and their basic classification. There are also described main parts of a rolling radial ball bearing, their diagnosis and the possibility of bearing lubrication. On the basis of available information about problems and breakdown occurrence of bearings, I have proposed modifications that lead to a reduction in bearings failure. Any adjustment applied to the bearing housing has contributed to the final suggestion, which comprehensively solves the issue of bearings accidents.
