Abstract

Master thesis is dealing with teoretical manufacturing in zero and low gravity environments. The introduction lists the major agencies and companies active in the space industry, the possibilities of transporting payloads to or obtaining them in space, and the materials used in this industry. The next part is dedicated to standards used in the space industry, the theory of gravity and experiments performed in microgravity environments. The thesis concludes with plans and predictions of companies involved in space manufacturing.
