Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on comparing of an impact of severe plastic deformation method initiative by equal channel angular die channel with helical horizontal part, i. e. TCAP, to obtain microstructural changes of the magnesium alloy AZ61. The thesis compares the influence of cast, extrusion and heat-treated initial state on the realization of the metal forming process under the same technological conditions. The influence of metal forming by TCAP method on structural evolution of a given alloy with dependent on the initial state is analysed by stress-strain curves and Vicker´s hardness. Microstructural changes are analysed by metallographic analysis using an optical microscope.
