Abstract

The thesis deals with the current refining the structure of metallic materials methodology with the focus on the process of ECAP. The introduction offers an overview of current methods, which are involved in the process of refining the structure of materials. In the experimental section there are analyzed methods to evaluate mechanical properties of both classical and short samples. The mechanical properties of short samples of alloys AlMn1Cu AlFe1, 5Mn are evaluated by the method of penetration and the effect of the number of passage on the structure of the extruded alloy. In the conclusion, the mechanical properties of short patterns of both alloys are compared by the tensile test.
