Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design and optimization of the quotation and inquiry process in a manufacturing company. Based on an analysis of the current state, the process’s weaknesses are identified, especially in inquiry handling, interdepartmental communication, and response speed to customer requests, and a new branch is proposed to eliminate these shortcomings. The result of the thesis is an optimized process branch supplemented by a BPMN model, a process card, a RACI matrix, and a tool for rapid price calculation. The proposed solution increases process transparency, shortens response time, and supports more efficient and more systematic inquiry processing.
