Abstract

This thesis deals with monitoring the electrical resistance of the resistor layer of the insert cutting ceramics. The first part is treated the theory of the ceramic cutting, tool wear, and electrical resistance. In the second part of the experiment is processed. He confirmed that increasing the wear factor increases the electrical resistance. If the electrical resistance increases by several tens of ohms can be concluded that inserts reached wear and need replace it.
