Abstract
This thesis deals with the issue of pressure units in power plants. The first part of the thesis is devoted to a general overview of pressure units in nuclear power plants, including the structure of steam generators and other components of the primary part of nuclear equipment. Much attention is paid to welding technologies of the main circulation piping, with emphasis on the weldability of heterogeneous joints of carbon and high-alloy steels.
The next part of the work deals with the testing of welded joints, including non-destructive and destructive methods. An important part is the design of welded joints, where the characteristics of the basic materials and the welding technologies used are discussed.
The experimental part of the work focuses on macroscopic and microscopic tests of welded joints and their evaluation. The evaluation of macrostructure, microstructure and microhardness is carried out in order to provide a comprehensive conclusion on the quality of the welded joints.
This work brings a deep understanding of the welding of pressure assemblies in nuclear power plants and provides a comprehensive view of welding technologies, testing methods and evaluation of welded joints, which can be crucial for the safety and efficiency of these facilities.
