This diploma thesis is focused on calculation of necessary data for followed construction of the popcorn fluidized bed reactor. Fluidization is described as a physical phenomenon and there is a discussion about its application in energetics. The thesis also includes calculation in Ansys - Fluent software and subsequently there is description of an attempt to verify the theoretical calculations of the popcorn fluidized bed reactor.
