Abstract

The topic of the diploma thesis focuses on the automation and optimization of production processes in cooperation with the company JBCZ Bearings Olomouc, which specializes in the production of bearings. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical analysis of automated production systems and lines, with an emphasis on the analysis of their properties, advantages and disadvantages, in the context of the current state of the NRF production line. The second part practically applies theoretical knowledge to the design of an automated packaging workplace for inner bearing rings. The main part of the work includes the design of a 3-axis automated manipulator, which is used to handle bearing rings. Furthermore, an automated packaging device is designed, which is intended for packaging bearing rings.
