Abstract
The thesis deals with information and legal literacy of students in the context of artificial intelligence. The aim of the thesis is to define the use of artificial intelligence in primary and secondary schools and to evaluate the information and legal literacy of students in this area.
The theoretical part defines the basic characteristics related to artificial intelligence. The contents include a definition of the term artificial intelligence, identification of the common framework of its use, a brief historical development and an analysis of selected legal aspects. Increased attention is paid to generative artificial intelligence, which is a specific area of the technology. The theoretical part also includes a definition of information and legal literacy, which forms the basic framework for the subsequent analysis.
In the practical part, the information and legal literacy of students in the field of artificial intelligence is analysed on the basis of a questionnaire survey. Subsequently, the use of artificial intelligence in education is examined from the perspective of educators at selected school levels. The findings are further complemented by the perspective of an expert on the technology. On the basis of the information obtained, partial evaluations are made and recommendations related to the specific area under study are proposed.
