Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the influence of processing parameters in the production of cemented carbide tools using microblasting technology. Its developing was allowed by Dormer Pramet Ltd. In the introduction part describes the meaning of cutting edge rounding and the influence of its size on the cutting process. In the next part the technologies, which are used for the production of cutting edge rounding are described. The next section presents the Vapormatt Saber sandblasting machine, which the company Dormer Pramet is using for production and which was also used for the experiment. The examined process parameters includes air pressure, slurry pressure, mixture concentration, gun distance, gun angle and process time. In a conclusion is an analysis of the values found and their discussion. It is also noted the recommendations of optimal settings for each parameter based on the detected values.
