Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the issue of new forms of cyberbullying among children. It examines how bullying has changed in the digital age and what forms it can take in the online environment. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts related to bullying and cyberbullying and describes specific modern forms such as cyberstalking, sexting and sextortion, shaming, deepfake content, and bullying in online gaming. The thesis also addresses the causes of online bullying and its consequences, especially in terms of the child’s psychological, social, and academic life. It further presents possible prevention strategies and outlines the basic legal protection of children in this area. The practical part is based on a questionnaire survey conducted among pupils aged 10–15, aiming to identify their experiences with cyberbullying and the occurrence of its new forms. The research results provide an overview of how often children encounter this phenomenon and how they perceive it. The aim of this thesis is to present the current issue of online bullying and highlight its seriousness in today’s society.
