Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design of an acoustic wall made from recycled material - crushed PU foam. The main aim of the thesis is to create a functional acoustic element for interior spaces that improves acoustic comfort while also using a material with ecological benefits.The theoretical part deals with the basics of room acoustics and the properties of polyurethane foams. The practical part includes the structural and formal design of the acoustic wall, including visualizations of the final concept.
