Abstract

This thesis is concentrated on wireless sensor networks area. In first chapter describes main wireless technologies mainly used in computer networks, mobile communication and sensor networks are described. The next I describe tasks the laboratory and selected task using wireless sensor networks. In thesis also I describe the application MOTEKom, which was designed in the Control Web 5 visualization environment and the making applications of Phidgets sensors for visualization, which was designed in LabVIEW visualization environment. In this thesis the task was designed to work using wireless sensor nodes. In the next chapters describe the development of applications for this task and method of communication between base station and nodes and thus a detailed analysis of the format string called TOSMSg, which is used for sending of gathered data or for sending commands from supervisory control system.
