Thesis supervisor: doc. Ing. Vladimír Vrba, CSc. This bachelor thesis deals with the production of M24 and M10 threads into a block of material quality R260 EN 13674-1. A frequent wrap screw taps was happened during the production of the threads and therefore it caused more expensive production. It was necessary to focus on the many factors that preceded the actual thread production when identifying the causes of destroying production. The effect and consequences of each of these factors were evaluated separately. There are evaluation of all this factors, determination of corrective measures and technical and economic evaluation of the savings that result from the proposed solutions in the conclusion of this bachelor thesis.
