Abstract

The present dissertation work analyzes and describes the current state of the material flow in the company Koyo Bearings Česká republika, s.r.o. This venture is a part of the multinational company JTEKT Corporation. Manufacturing divisions described in this dissertation focus on production of needle and roller bearings and pulleys for the automotive industry, engineering and after-sales sector. The aim of this work is to analyze the areas which increase work efficiency, especially in material flow, and to find more economical and efficient solutions. The terms related to this topic are defined in the introduction, and are used further on to analyze the current situation in the company. The following chapters focus on the analysis of the problems and suggest a solution – the use of unified nameplates or labelling the bearings with laser technology. This method is evaluated in the conclusion.
