Abstract

This essay focuses on the design of a part of a disc cooling bank of heavy plates, which is composed of a disc shaft its drive and its mounting. The first part of this work describes the division of cooling banks, possible variations characteristics and a choice of one of them, sum description and the basic construction calculations. The last part focuses on the basic directions for operation and mechanism maintenance. The conclusion involves the evaluation of executed solutions. There is also a 3D model including the design documentation.
