The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a Transport Unit for the pickling process. The first part of the thesis contains a literature review on the topic of Pickling Transport Systems. Basic information about pickling, pickling transport systems, and methods of material handling are described here The second part of the thesis focuses on the description of the transport unit, design of the load-bearing structure of the transport unit, and individual parts of the structure. The introductory section presents a transport unit that served as inspiration, followed by descriptions of the proposed transport units. Furthermore, descriptions and construction of the load-bearing frame with chassis, which was divided into sections, are provided. For selected important sections, descriptions, strength analysis, and calculation of bolted joints are subsequently provided. Selected sections are processed in manufacturing drawings with assembly drawings of the transport unit. All drawings serve as appendices to the bachelor thesis. The third part of the thesis deals with purchased types of components, which were acquired based on demand and selection of components in accordance with defined parameters of the bachelor thesis.
