Abstract

This thesis deals with optimization of boilers burning LIGNATOR type wood with regard to the reduction of carbon monoxide. In the practical part there are performed series of initial measurements in boiler, for detectioning relative data of boiler operationing with a regard to further process optimization of the boiler. Using the measured and calculated data there is compiled mathematical model of the interior in afterburner chamber. In the next stage there is devised and implemented optimization of the supply of tertiary air into the afterburner chamber with the preheating. Thermal calculation carry out is done for flue gas line and calculationon of the heat transfer between the supply air and flue gases. To verify the proposed measure the boiler is remaked and then it was made another series of measurements. The object of thesis was to reduce CO emissions. The proposed optimization based on a chase of tertiary air supply and the preheating was successful.
