Optimalizace hřídele elektrického točivého stroje

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the optimization of the shaft and its bearing arrangement for a 1,5 kW induction motor. The motivation behind this work was the occurrence of repeated bearing failures, which were identified through vibration diagnostics. Based on the analysis, a new shaft design was proposed to improve the machine’s operational reliability. The design process included the selection of appropriate material, dimensional design, and construction features. Strength verification was carried out using the finite element method for both static and dynamic conditions. Furthermore, the suitability of the proposed bearings was confirmed through calculations of static and dynamic load ratings according to relevant standards. The thesis also includes technical drawings of the shaft and rotor assembly.
